Training

Ladies and Men's Gaelic football training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7.15pm at Amstelveen Rugby Club (On pitch, starting at 7.30pm). For directions please see the map below. If you can only attend one training a week, then Tuesday is the most popular evening.

You will need standard sports gear similar to as if you were playing soccer or rugby, we train on a grass pitch, so in wet conditions football boots are advised.

The club house has separate shower and changing facilities and a bar that serves snacks and warm and cold drinks.

Even if you are a beginner we are keen to welcome you to the club. Your first two try out sessions are free and you are not under any commitment to sign up before this.

Directions to ARC in Amstelveen:

Coming from Schiphol take the A9 to Utrecht/Amstelveen;

Coming from Amsterdam take the A10 to Den Haag/Schiphol, then take the A9 to Utrecht/Amstelveen;

Coming from Den Haag take either the A4 or A44 to Amsterdam, after Schiphol Airport take the A9 to Utrecht/Amstelveen;

Coming from Utrecht take the A2 to Amsterdam, then take the A9 to Schiphol. At the exit Amstelveen take direction Amstelveen-Zuid (South); Keep to the left lane and keep going straight. Immediately after the Total gas station, take a right at the traffic lights and immediately turn left again into our parking lot.

By Bus/Metro:

Buses 170, 171 and 172 from Central Station and Leidseplein (approx 45 minutes) Bus stop 'Sportlaan'

By Metro:

Take line 51 from Central station and Amstelstation. (Approx 30 minutes) to stop 'Sportlaan' Ten minutes walk down Sportlaan. Get out of the metro, walk forward and cross the road on your right hand side, when you cross the road, walk straight ahead with the metro behind you, continue down this road for about 10 minutes walk, you should then see ARC, the small club building on the left hand side of this road, just past the first set of traffic lights.
